Lash Service Pricing Calculator

Calculate what to charge for classic, hybrid, and volume lash sets based on your real costs, time, and income goals.

Updated March 2026

Most lash techs set prices by copying what others charge nearby — without knowing if those prices actually cover their costs. This free calculator works backward from your real expenses, time per service, and the hourly rate you want to earn.

You get a recommended price for each service type, plus a view of your projected monthly income.

Step 1

Your monthly business costs

Add up your fixed monthly expenses. If you're not sure, estimate — you can always come back and adjust.

Monthly rent, suite fee, or home-office cost.

$

Adhesive, lashes, eye pads, tape, brushes, etc.

$

Liability or business insurance per month.

$

Booking software, music, accounting tools, etc.

$

Instagram ads, website, printed cards, etc.

$

Utilities, phone, continuing education, anything else.

$

Total monthly costs: $0

Step 2

Your work schedule

How many days and weeks can you realistically work per month?

How many days you take clients.

Account for time off. Most lash techs use 4.

Working days per month: 20

Step 3

Services and your hourly goal

Enter the total appointment time for each service you offer (including consult, prep, and cleanup — not just lashing time). Then set the hourly rate you want to take home.

What you want to earn per hour before taxes.

$/hr

Not sure what to aim for? Most lash techs target $40–$75/hr. Beginners often start at $25–$40/hr.

Step 4

What your pricing should cover

Your lash service price isn't just paying for lashes and glue. It needs to cover three things: your fixed business costs (rent, insurance, software), your per-client costs (supplies, disposables), and your time and skill.

Most lash techs only think about the last one. That's how you end up working full days and still barely covering expenses. A good price covers all three — and leaves room for taxes, slow weeks, and the occasional no-show.

Pricing formula

Formula

Recommended Price = overhead per appointment + supply cost per client + (appointment time × hourly rate)

Overhead is your total monthly costs spread across your appointments based on time. A 3-hour volume set absorbs more overhead than a 1-hour fill.
